A campaign’s
public face.

I developed the brand identity for John Bel Edwards’s campaign for governor of Louisiana in collaboration with Samuel Macaluso and Metric Creative. The work included the campaign logo and a billboard treatment, bringing together a distinct wordmark, Louisiana references, and a blue, white, and gold palette.

The identity paired a prominent Edwards name with the fleur-de-lis and the campaign’s “Putting Louisiana First” line. These original materials show the visual system and its application at outdoor scale.

01 / The campaign

Part of a Louisiana
election story.

Edwards was elected governor in November 2015 and sworn in as Louisiana’s 56th governor on January 11, 2016. This brand work belongs to that successful campaign, a memorable chapter in my earlier design practice.
